This course, offered as four 2-1/2 hour classes, is designed to prepare the expectant couple physically and emotionally for the childbirth experience. Couples are taught what to expect during labor and delivery as well as techniques to help cope effectively.

Cost: $70 per couple

This course, offered as one all-day Saturday class, is designed to prepare the expectant couple physically and emotionally for the childbirth experience. Couples are taught what to expect during labor and delivery as well as techniques to help cope effectively.

This 2-1/2 hour class is designed for the expectant couple interested in learning to care for their newborn. Topics range from bathing to buying suitable baby equipment.

Cost: $30 per couple.

Time: 7:00 - 9:30 p.m.

This class meets two nights for two hours each time and includes information and encouragement for a successful breastfeeding experience. Topics include preparation for nursing, how to get started, available resources, how to express and store milk, and other helpful hints. Fathers or coaches are welcome to learn how to contribute and offer support.

Cost: $30 per couple.

One Day Saturday Session

Our breastfeeding class also has a special one-day Saturday session.

This 2.5 hour class includes information on childproofing, protecting from accidents, CPR, first aid for the choking infant, and general safety considerations for infants and young children.

Cost: $30

Time: 9:00 -11:30 a.m.

This one-hour class helps prepare youngsters for a new brother or sister with discussions and activities to strengthen bonds with the expected baby. A tour helps siblings become familiar with the hospital setting and feel a part of the birth experience. This class is designed for ages three and up, although those nine and up may benefit more from the Basic Baby Care Class. There is no charge for the Big Brother/Big Sister Class.
